About the Role
As a Real Estate Finance Associate, you'll work on sophisticated transactions involving commercial real estate financing, including loans, refinancings, and structured finance deals. You'll partner with senior attorneys, clients, and other professionals to structure transactions, review documentation, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. This role combines transaction work with legal analysis and strategic problem-solving across Atlanta's dynamic real estate market.
What You'll Do
- Prepare and review loan documents, security agreements, and transaction closing materials
- Conduct legal due diligence on real estate assets and financing structures
- Support client communications and coordinate transaction closings
- Research real estate finance law and regulatory developments affecting transactions
- Draft correspondence and memoranda analyzing transaction issues and recommendations
- Contribute to deal strategy discussions and client advisory work
What We're Looking For
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- Strong legal writing and analytical skills
