Quality Coordinator

Continental is recruiting a Quality Coordinator for its manufacturing operations, based in Grimsby, England, GB. This is a full-time remote position offering the opportunity to safeguard product quality and drive continuous improvement across our production systems.

Position Summary

As Quality Coordinator at Continental, you will ensure manufacturing excellence by coordinating quality assurance activities across our Grimsby operations. Working within our production quality framework, you will bridge production and quality teams, maintain compliance with specifications, and contribute to process refinement initiatives. You'll play an integral part in upholding the quality standards that define Continental's reputation in the automotive and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate quality inspections and testing protocols throughout production cycles
• Document and analyse quality data, creating comprehensive reports for internal and regulatory review
• Communicate quality findings and observations between production teams and quality assurance specialists
• Support investigation and resolution of quality deviations using structured problem-solving methods
• Maintain detailed quality records and procedural documentation in compliance with manufacturing standards
• Contribute to corrective and preventive action (CAPA) initiatives when quality issues are identified
• Participate in process improvement projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and consistency

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of quality assurance practices and manufacturing operations
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail in data recording and reporting
• Proficiency with computer systems and experience managing data in spreadsheet and database software
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities across cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with quality management systems and standards (ISO 9001 or equivalent preferred)
• Capability to balance independent work with collaborative team-based responsibilities
• Commitment to continuous learning and quality-focused problem solving
