Lead Teacher – The Village Sicklerville

The Village Learning Center is hiring a Lead Teacher for our Sicklerville, NJ location. We're seeking a dedicated early childhood educator ready to join our full-time team and make a meaningful difference in young children's lives.

Role Overview

As a Lead Teacher at The Village Learning Center in Sicklerville, you'll play a vital role in our early childhood education program. We're looking for passionate educators committed to creating nurturing, developmentally appropriate learning experiences for young learners. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and learning activities that support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Create and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating classroom environment aligned with state standards
• Observe and document individual children's progress and developmental milestones
• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children and foster a sense of belonging in the classroom
• Communicate regularly with families about their child's learning experiences and growth
• Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and early learning regulations
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive, supportive early learning program

Qualifications

You must hold at least one of the following credentials:

• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or Child Development
• Six ECE credits plus nine credits in education, psychology, health care, nursing, or a related field focused on child growth and development
• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential
• Child Care Professional (CCP) certification
• Group Teacher endorsement from the New Jersey Registry for Childhood Professionals

Additional requirements:

• Minimum age of 18 years
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Compliance with all state, federal, and The Village Learning Center employment standards, including required immunizations, employment physical, and health and safety training
• Valid driver's license if driving is a requirement of the position
