Psychiatrist – Child & Adolescent – 1099 Contractor (Virtual) – Indiana

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential telehealth organization seeking a Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join their virtual provider network. This 1099 contractor role offers the flexibility to set your own schedule while providing high-quality mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families across Indiana.

Our client operates a connected care model that combines advanced matching technology with comprehensive clinical support, allowing you to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks. You'll provide evidence-based psychiatric treatment through virtual sessions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team committed to accessible, culturally responsive care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations via video appointments and formulate accurate diagnoses for children and adolescents
• Create individualized treatment plans tailored to each developmental stage
• Provide medication management for conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, and mood disorders
• Deliver virtual psychiatric sessions ensuring a high-quality, supportive experience for members and families
• Foster a family-centered approach by educating families on mental health issues and involving them in care planning
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to collaborative care planning
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of assessments, care plans, and progress notes
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and quality standards, including JCAHO guidelines

What We're Looking For

• Board-certified or board-eligible Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist
• Active license in Indiana (or ability to obtain one)
• Demonstrated family engagement skills and experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults
• Commitment to and familiarity with JCAHO guidelines and competency in practicing within an accredited framework
• Computer and live video tools literacy (Zoom, Google Meets, DoxyMe, Skype, etc.)
• Experience providing telehealth services in a virtual environment preferred but not required
• Dedication to delivering culturally responsive, evidence-based care
