Projektkoordinator Produktentwicklung (m/w/d) unbefristet in Vollzeit

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential premium pet food organization in their search for a Project Coordinator for Product Development. In this role, you will bring structure to complex projects and coordinate the development of new products from initial concept through market launch.

Your day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Coordinating product development projects from initial idea to market introduction
• Creating and maintaining project plans in Asana with clear milestones, responsibilities, and dependencies
• Coordinating collaboration between brand management, product development, purchasing, quality management, design, and marketing teams
• Identifying schedule risks and resource bottlenecks early, coordinating countermeasures with involved teams, and obtaining necessary decisions
• Organizing and moderating project meetings, documenting decisions, next steps, and responsibilities in a traceable manner
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously and aligning priorities with relevant departments
• Preparing technical decisions and approvals together with responsible teams and following up on open items until resolution
• Keeping project status current, questioning processes, and implementing practical improvements together with teams

You will report to the Head of Marketing. This position focuses on coordination rather than budgetary responsibility, with technical decisions and approvals remaining with the respective departments.

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks someone who has independently coordinated projects involving multiple departments and brings strong organizational skills to the role.

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional projects independently
• Strong organizational skills with structured, self-directed working style and ability to maintain overview when priorities shift
• Confident use of project management tools with ability to derive clear plans and concrete next steps
• Clear communication style, proactive approach to others, and reliable follow-through on agreements
• Ability to recognize which organizational issues you can solve independently and when a decision from the responsible department is required
• Enthusiasm for improving processes and facilitating collaboration between teams
• Very good German language skills and good English skills for communication with external partners

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with development or market launch of physical products, ideally in consumer goods
• Knowledge of Asana project management software

Position details: Permanent, full-time role based in Fellbach with flexible working arrangements (combination of office presence and home office possible, flexible working hours). 30 vacation days per year.
