Production Operator – 2nd Shift

Avient is seeking a Production Operator for the 2nd shift at our Holden, Worcester County facility. In this full-time role paying $22 per hour, you'll operate specialized equipment to blend, mix, package, and transport chemical products that serve our customers worldwide.

What This Role Involves

As a Production Operator, you'll be hands-on with our blending and packaging systems, ensuring every batch meets customer specifications and quality standards. You'll work the 2nd shift, taking responsibility for equipment setup, operation, and the careful handling of both liquid and dry chemical formulations. Your focus will be on maintaining product quality while optimizing costs and meeting delivery deadlines—all while adhering to Avient's operational standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate blending, mixing, packaging, and transport equipment according to production schedules
• Monitor equipment performance and ensure all materials are processed to customer specifications
• Handle liquid and dry chemicals safely and in compliance with company procedures
• Verify product quality and consistency throughout production runs
• Meet daily production targets and delivery commitments
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and equipment
• Report equipment issues or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

• Experience operating manufacturing or chemical processing equipment (or willingness to learn)
