This full-time postdoctoral position offers the opportunity to conduct independent and collaborative research that bridges engineering and public policy. What You'll Do
- Conduct original research on engineering and public policy topics, including literature reviews, data analysis, and policy evaluation
- Develop technical analyses and frameworks that inform policy recommendations and stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with faculty advisors, graduate students, and interdisciplinary research teams
- Prepare research findings for academic publication and policy briefs for practitioners
- Contribute to grant proposals and research grant management
- Mentor and support graduate student researchers
What We're Looking For
- PhD in Engineering, Policy, Science and Technology Studies, Public Policy, or a related technical or policy field
- Demonstrated research excellence with a track record of scholarly publication
- Strong analytical and writing skills, with ability to communicate across technical and policy audiences
- Experience in quantitative research methods, policy analysis, or engineering systems evaluation
- Self-direction and collaborative research experience in academic settings
