Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AdTech organization based in Berlin. We're seeking a Product Owner to lead delivery for their core data pipeline products. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, supplier integrations, and product operations, ensuring high-throughput data signals remain reliable, fresh, and trusted across downstream teams.

You'll own backlog management for a squad of data engineers, translating strategic priorities into testable delivery while managing technical scale, operational KPIs, and partner integrations. This is a hands-on product ownership role requiring SQL fluency, delivery rigor, and comfort navigating ambiguity in a data-heavy environment.

Responsibilities

• Own and maintain the squad backlog, translating product strategy into clear, testable user stories in collaboration with senior product leadership
• Lead the roadmap for modernizing and scaling core data ingestion and processing pipelines to handle high-throughput workloads
• Manage internal dependencies including SLAs, schema contracts, and roadmap touchpoints with downstream squads
• Coordinate releases of new schemas, ingestion endpoints, match logic changes, and signal product enhancements
• Serve as the primary technical counterpart to data supplier and panel partner technical teams, co-owning ingestion specs and schema contracts
• Support new supplier partnerships and panel expansion through feasibility input, integration scoping, and prototype delivery
• Define, own, and report on operational KPIs such as signal freshness, SLA adherence, panel coverage, schema validation pass rate, and match rate
• Establish SLIs, SLOs, and escalation paths in partnership with engineering, and maintain operational visibility dashboards and alerts

What We're Looking For

• 3-5 years of experience as a Product Owner or technical PM, ideally in AdTech, MarTech, or another data-heavy ecosystem
• Strong delivery and technical scale management skills: sequencing complex backend work, mapping dependencies, and scoping against time constraints
• Operationally rigorous mindset: comfortable thinking in SLIs, SLOs, freshness metrics, match rate, and MTTR
• Required: SQL proficiency to independently query internal data sources, investigate supplier data quality, panel metrics, and pipeline KPIs
• Comfort with ambiguity and ability to make decisions with limited information while translating business intent clearly for engineering teams
• Privacy-aware product thinking with understanding of data governance and how evolving privacy frameworks affect upstream ingestion and pipeline logic
• Clear communication across organizational levels, able to translate strategy into specs and engineering reality into product trade-offs
• True ownership mentality: drives outcomes without step-by-step direction and surfaces tensions upward appropriately
• Experience with tools including SQL, Jira, Confluence, and API documentation platforms
• Based in Berlin or open to working from the Berlin office periodically (hybrid model)
• Nice to have: prior experience collaborating with identity vendors, panel providers, or purchase-data suppliers on schema and integration work

Pay

This role is budgeted at €65,000 - €70,000 annual on-target earnings by the client.
