Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential digital media organization in Berlin seeking a working student for editorial support. In this role, you will contribute to the production of quality journalism focused on education topics.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Research relevant topics and journalistic content for publication
- Support editing and publishing texts in coordination with editors on production days (Tuesday and Thursday)
- Assist with SEO optimization and content tagging
- Support organization and coordination of editorial processes on production days
- Participate in editorial conferences for planning and coordinating production processes as needed
- Write original articles in coordination with the editorial team as appropriate
What We're Looking For
Our client is seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program (e.g., Education, Media Studies, Communications, Journalism)
- Structured and reliable working style with strong understanding of processes and workflows
- Previous journalistic experience or background in editorial work is advantageous
- Sharp eye for detail and ability to quickly check content for linguistic errors
- Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain overview in a dynamic environment
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Independent, careful, and reliable approach to work
- German language proficiency required for this editorial role
This is a working student position requiring availability on Tuesdays and Thursdays for approximately 16 hours per week total. The role is based in Berlin and includes 10 days vacation for a 2-day work week.
