Product Manager, Code

Figma is hiring a full-time Product Manager, Code for our San Francisco, CA and New York, NY offices to lead the AI platform powering our design-to-code capabilities and intelligent agent infrastructure.

Role Overview

You'll oversee the technical foundation that enables product teams to translate designs into production-ready code at scale. This role spans the distributed systems powering automated design-to-code transformation, the infrastructure that integrates cutting-edge language models and third-party developer services, the evaluation systems that measure translation quality, and the context layers that personalize AI outputs to customer design systems. You'll work at the intersection of product strategy and systems thinking, shaping how Figma's developer platform matures while maintaining the performance and reliability enterprise teams depend on.

Key Responsibilities

• Define the vision and execution for frictionless design-to-code workflows, ensuring designs convert efficiently to production code and code changes reflect back to the canvas with minimal handoff, increasingly through AI-driven automation.
• Elevate the MCP server platform that development teams rely on—improving performance, expanding capabilities, and ensuring reliability grows alongside adoption in code-first product workflows.
• Establish the quality measurement and evaluation infrastructure that tracks fidelity in design-to-code translation, enabling continuous product improvements across the AI platform.
• Deepen enterprise customer relationships by understanding complex team workflows and shipping solutions that scale reliably in production environments with full customer confidence.

Skills & Qualifications

• Five or more years managing products from initial conception through successful launch and market adoption.
• Proven ability to ship quality improvements to products with clear metrics demonstrating the business impact you drove.
• Ability to read code and participate confidently in technical discussions about agent systems, language models, MCP architecture, and how AI systems integrate.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams through major initiatives end-to-end, with direct communication of results to senior leadership.
• Track record building relationships with enterprise customers to understand workflows and translating that knowledge into shipped features.
• Background in design tools, developer platforms, or AI-augmented coding products.
