Contract Manager – US – Remote

Lifelancer is hiring a Contract Manager - US - Remote. This full-time position based in the United States offers the opportunity to manage clinical trial contracts and drive successful sponsor partnerships with leading organizations.

The Opportunity

As a Contract Manager with Lifelancer, you'll oversee the complete lifecycle of clinical trial contracts and amendments with research sponsors. You'll collaborate across business development, legal, operations, and finance to structure agreements that enable groundbreaking clinical research. This role requires someone who can handle complex contract negotiations with precision while ensuring full regulatory and policy compliance across all sponsor interactions.

Core Duties

• Coordinate with Business Development, Therapeutic Leaders, Operations, Finance, and Legal teams to draft, review, and finalize contracts and change orders with sponsors
• Lead negotiations on contract terms, including study budgets, scope of work definitions, and legal and financial provisions
• Verify that scope of work is accurately defined and properly reflected in corresponding study budgets
• Integrate contract amendments and updates into master agreements efficiently while preserving contract consistency
• Refine proposal budgets to align with finalized specifications, including updates to sponsor bid grids as needed
• Develop and modify service descriptions and contract exhibits derived from original proposals

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
• Two to three years of direct contract management, sourcing, analysis, or integration experience within CRO or pharmaceutical environments
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel for budget modeling and bid grid management
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive effective collaboration across functional teams
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to thrive in deadline-driven settings
• Excellent planning, strategizing, monitoring, and analytical capabilities with the ability to work independently
