We are representing a confidential healthcare SaaS organization seeking a strategic and user-focused Product Manager to join their growing team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in product management and a passion for improving healthcare through technology. You will be responsible for driving the development and enhancement of digital products that serve healthcare providers, payers, and patients, ensuring they are compliant, scalable, and impactful.

As Product Manager, you will collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, clinical, and compliance teams to deliver solutions that meet market needs and regulatory standards. You'll own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, leveraging data, customer insights, and industry trends to inform decisions and prioritize features.

Responsibilities

  • Align product vision with business goals and market needs, developing strategies that drive value for both users and the business
  • Prioritize features based on impact, feasibility, and compliance to create a strategic roadmap
  • Identify market opportunities and de-risk product ideas through experimentation, voice of customer, and competitive research
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback, update requirements, and provide commercial guidance on value proposition
  • Champion intuitive, accessible, and compliant user experiences tailored to clinical workflows
  • Serve as the bridge between engineering, design, clinical experts, and business teams
  • Lead cross-functional teams through the product lifecycle including refinement and launch
  • Navigate clinical frameworks and translate to product requirements while maintaining awareness of patient safety and data privacy concerns
  • Ensure interoperability with legacy systems and existing healthcare infrastructure
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, aligning diverse teams around shared goals

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Health Informatics, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field
  • 4-6 years of relevant product management experience
  • Proficiency in AI/ML technologies and data-driven product management
  • Proven track record of launching and iteratively improving digital products
  • Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams (engineering, design, clinical, compliance)
  • Experience working in agile environments and managing product backlogs including systems like JIRA or Azure DevOps
  • Hands-on experience with product analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Gainsight)
  • Ability to interpret healthcare data and use it to inform product strategy
  • Experience working with legal or compliance teams during product development
  • Familiarity with clinical workflows and terminology
  • General understanding of HIPAA and other compliance standards
  • Understanding of software development processes and agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of healthcare SaaS platforms (e.g., EHRs, telemedicine tools)
  • Ability to travel up to 30%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with EHR systems, clinical workflows, or health data standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR)
  • Exposure to HIPAA, GDPR, or other healthcare-related compliance frameworks
  • Master's degree or certifications in Product Management (e.g., Pragmatic Institute, General Assembly), Healthcare Administration, or Public Health
  • MBA with a focus on technology or healthcare
  • Certifications like Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or PMI-ACP
