Aristocrat Investigation LLC is seeking a full-time Process Server to join our team in Mediapolis, serving Des Moines County and surrounding areas. As a Process Server, you'll play an essential part in the legal system, ensuring that proper notification reaches individuals and entities involved in court proceedings.
About the Role
This is a critical position within the legal and investigative services industry. Process servers are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of legal documents including summons, subpoenas, complaints, and other court filings. Working in Mediapolis and throughout Des Moines County, you'll interact with diverse individuals, navigate various locations, and maintain meticulous records of all service attempts and completions.
What You'll Do
- Locate and serve legal documents to defendants, plaintiffs, witnesses, and other involved parties with precision and professionalism
- Maintain detailed records of all service attempts, successful deliveries, and relevant case information
- Coordinate with attorneys, law firms, and court systems to ensure timely execution of service
- Perform investigations to locate individuals at residences, workplaces, and other venues within Des Moines County
- Verify receipts and prepare affidavits of service for court submission
- Stay current with Iowa legal procedures, court rules, and process service requirements
- Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
