About This Position

Coinbase is seeking a Privacy Analyst to join our remote-first, global team. This role will focus on owning and improving our Privacy Incident Management function, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring robust incident response processes are in place.

Responsibilities

• Owning the end-to-end Privacy Incident Management program, including notification workflows, escalation paths, process documentation, responder enablement, and automation opportunities.
• Leading privacy incident response as the Decisional Responsibility Holder (DRI) and Incident Commander, coordinating across Privacy, Privacy Legal, CSIRT, Product, Engineering, and Communications to drive analysis, remediation, and follow-through.
• Maintaining on-call readiness for privacy incident triage, severity classification, and urgent escalations, ensuring incidents are correctly assessed and routed.

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in Privacy Incident Management or related fields.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to drive cross-functional coordination during time-sensitive events.
• Adept at building durable process improvements in a fast-moving environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across multiple departments.
