SOC Analyst at Clearcapital - Remote (US)

Position Summary

Your primary responsibility as a SOC Analyst will be to help protect Clearcapital’s on-premises and cloud environments through security monitoring, incident response, threat hunting, vulnerability analysis, and security advisory support. This role is best suited for a candidate with prior Security Operations Center (SOC) experience who can investigate alerts, analyze logs, correlate activity across multiple security platforms, and support the response to security incidents.

What You'll Do

• Investigate security alerts and analyze logs to identify potential threats
• Correlate activities across various security platforms for comprehensive threat assessment
• Support incident response by providing timely and accurate analysis of security events
• Assist in vulnerability management, system hardening, and security platform administration
• Evaluate risk, prioritize remediation efforts, and recommend secure configurations
• Partner with system, infrastructure, cloud, and application owners to enhance the organization’s security posture

Requirements

• Prior experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) role
• Comfortable investigating alerts and analyzing logs
• Ability to correlate activities across multiple security platforms
• Experience supporting incident response and providing security advisory support
• Knowledge of vulnerability management, system hardening, and security platform administration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
