About the Role

As a high school principal, you'll provide instructional leadership and strategic management for a dynamic school community. This is a full-time administrative position available beginning July 1, 2026, for candidates interested in serving schools within Charleston County School District.

• Lead and support instructional programs that maximize student achievement and engagement
• Oversee school operations, budgeting, staffing, and facility management
• Build strong relationships with students, families, staff, and community partners
• Evaluate and develop staff; foster a positive school culture
• Ensure compliance with district policies and state education standards
• Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and strategic planning

What We're Looking For

• Current state principal certification or eligibility to obtain certification
• Demonstrated success in educational leadership or school administration
• Strong knowledge of secondary education, curriculum, and instructional best practices
• Proven ability to lead diverse teams and build collaborative school environments
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to equity, student growth, and educational excellence
