About the Role

As a Power Plant Scheduler at VST, you'll be responsible for coordinating and optimizing the scheduling of power generation activities. Responsibilities

• Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly operating schedules for power generation
• Coordinate with plant operations teams and technical staff to execute schedules
• Monitor plant performance and adjust schedules based on operational conditions
• Maintain and prepare regulatory compliance documentation and reports
• Communicate scheduling updates and changes to relevant stakeholders
• Optimize resource allocation to support plant efficiency and grid reliability

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or degree in energy, engineering, or related field preferred
• Experience in power plant operations, scheduling, or the energy industry
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Proficiency with scheduling software and standard business applications
• Clear communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams
• Knowledge of power generation and operational compliance standards
