About the Role
As a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at Walgreens, you'll combine customer-facing excellence with behind-the-counter support in a busy pharmacy environment. You'll work full-time handling point-of-sale transactions, greeting customers with warmth and professionalism, and assisting our licensed pharmacist with daily operational needs. This position reports directly to pharmacy leadership and operates within all state and federal pharmacy practice guidelines.
What You'll Do
- Ring up customer purchases on the register with accuracy, handling cash and card payments efficiently
- Greet customers with courtesy and patience, answering questions and addressing concerns at checkout
- Process transactions quickly without compromising accuracy, even during peak store hours
- Assist the pharmacist and pharmacy technician with supporting tasks under direct supervision
- Help navigate pharmacy computer systems to retrieve patient information and fulfill operational requirements
- Maintain awareness of state and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice
- Keep the pharmacy and customer service areas clean, organized, and properly stocked

- High school diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated ability to deliver strong customer service in a retail setting
- Comfort with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
