About the Role

As Operations Manager at Suburban Propane, you'll oversee the daily operations of our West Pittston location, ensuring seamless coordination across all operational functions. What You'll Do

• Manage day-to-day operations of the Customer Service Center (CSC), overseeing service delivery, distribution logistics, and storage activities
• Design, implement, and refine operational processes that enhance service quality and efficiency
• Oversee inventory management and ensure optimal storage conditions for propane and related products
• Lead and mentor operations staff, fostering a culture of accountability and safety
• Coordinate with field teams to optimize delivery schedules and customer service response times
• Monitor operational metrics and identify opportunities for cost savings and continuous improvement
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in a hazardous materials environment
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships while addressing operational concerns

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience in operations management, preferably in propane distribution, fuel services, or similar industries
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to lead teams and develop staff in a fast-paced environment
