The Opportunity
This travel position offers registered respiratory therapists the chance to work a meaningful short-term assignment at a healthcare facility in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. You'll deliver essential respiratory care services on day shifts, working 36 hours per week across 12-hour rotations. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive respiratory assessments and collaborate with physicians on treatment plans
- Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment and mechanical ventilation systems
- Monitor patient oxygenation and vital signs, adjusting care as clinically indicated
- Support airway management procedures and maintain equipment functionality
- Document treatment details and clinical observations in patient medical records
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license
- Current certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Valid BLS certification
- Demonstrated experience in clinical respiratory therapy settings
- Proficiency with mechanical ventilation, oxygen delivery systems, and standard respiratory equipment
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
