Performance Marketing Manager (m/f/x)

We are representing a digital growth consultancy in Berlin that partners with clients to drive measurable, efficient, and sustainable business growth. Our talent team is seeking a Performance Marketing Manager to join their collaborative environment, working across performance, creative, technology, and strategy functions.

In this role, you will develop growth strategies, manage multi-channel budgets, and serve as a strategic partner to clients. You'll combine strategic thinking with hands-on campaign execution while leveraging modern AI tools to enhance analytics, research, and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Develop performance marketing and growth strategies aligned with client business objectives across paid search, paid social, display, native, and programmatic channels
• Translate business goals into concrete channel, campaign, and budget strategies; manage budgets cross-channel to ensure efficient achievement of growth targets
• Continuously analyze performance data, derive optimization measures, and adapt strategies based on insights
• Utilize AI tools including ChatGPT and Claude to enhance analyses, research, campaign concepts, reporting, and operational processes
• Set up, manage, and continuously optimize performance marketing campaigns across multiple platforms
• Establish reporting and controlling processes; monitor KPIs, budgets, timings, and results
• Translate client objectives into clear tasks and structured briefs for the performance team
• Present performance strategies, initiatives, and results to clients in a clear and compelling manner during regular meetings
• Identify growth opportunities and develop actionable measures in collaboration with project teams
• Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop data-driven creative concepts, testing approaches, and impactful campaign ideas
• Share knowledge about current performance marketing topics, new tools, and AI-enabled workflows with the team

What We're Looking For

• 3–5 years of experience in performance marketing, ideally in agency, e-commerce, B2C, or B2B environments
• Strong knowledge of multiple online marketing channels (paid social, paid search, native, programmatic) with deep expertise in at least one channel
• Experience with tracking, reporting, and KPI-based campaign management
• Data-driven decision-making approach combining analytical thinking with pragmatic execution
• Curiosity about new technologies with ideally hands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or comparable applications
• Proactive engagement with performance marketing trends and ability to bring new insights to the team
• Self-directed project management skills with strong collaborative mindset
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and structured working style
• Fluent communication skills in both German and English
• Authorization to work in Germany
