Performance Marketing Lead (Native Ads)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential performance marketing organization that is scaling rapidly in the digital advertising space. They are seeking an experienced Performance Marketing Lead to own and expand their native advertising capabilities across major platforms including Taboola, Microsoft Ads, LiveIntent, and Newsbreak.

This is not a campaign management role—it's a platform-building opportunity. You'll lead an initial team of three Media Buyers while recruiting and developing additional specialists. As the business scales, you'll have a clear path to grow into a Head of Native Pod role.

Location: Albania

Responsibilities

• Own the strategic direction and overall performance of native advertising channels, developing platform-specific strategies that support sustainable growth while maintaining profitability
• Lead, mentor, and support an initial team of three Media Buyers, with responsibility for recruiting and onboarding additional team members as the function expands
• Create an environment focused on accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high performance through regular coaching, campaign reviews, and performance feedback
• Monitor and optimize key business metrics including lead volume and quality, cost efficiency, and profitability across all campaigns
• Develop structured testing frameworks across targeting, bidding, placements, creatives, and campaign optimization to promote a data-driven culture of experimentation
• Partner closely with Design, CRO, Analytics, and Operations teams to improve campaign quality and execution speed
• Establish platform standards, documentation, playbooks, and operational processes that enable consistent execution and scalability across the team
• Stay current on platform updates, industry trends, and competitive activity to continuously identify new performance improvement opportunities

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in performance marketing or media buying
• Previous experience managing, mentoring, or leading Media Buyers
• Experience with one or more native advertising platforms such as Taboola, Outbrain, Microsoft Ads, LiveIntent, Newsbreak, MGID, or MediaGo
• Experience managing campaigns targeting North American markets
• Strong analytical skills and a data-driven approach to decision making
• Proven experience optimizing campaigns at scale
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Fluent English

Preferred:

• Experience in lead generation and performance marketing
• Experience working in agency or high-growth performance marketing environments
• Familiarity with AI-powered marketing tools and workflow automation
