What You'll Do

• Process payroll for large employee populations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Administer payroll systems, including data validation, reconciliation, and resolution of payroll discrepancies
• Review and audit payroll records, tax withholdings, deductions, and benefit contributions before distribution
• Address payroll inquiries from employees and managers with clear, professional explanations of deductions and tax impacts
• Collaborate with Human Resources, Finance, and Benefits teams to implement policy changes and coordinate quarterly and year-end payroll cycles
• Prepare accurate reports for internal stakeholders and external compliance audits
• Monitor regulatory updates and communicate payroll law changes to relevant departments
• Mentor junior payroll staff and guide team members on compliance best practices

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of payroll processing or analysis experience in a senior or equivalent role
• Hands-on experience with payroll software systems and spreadsheet applications
• Strong working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Clear communication skills and ability to explain technical payroll matters to non-specialist audiences
• Ability to work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams
