Part-Time Program Leader – Senior Wellness Center

Join Cobb County Government as a Part-Time Program Leader at the Senior Wellness Center in Kennesaw. In this 29-hour weekly position, you'll develop and facilitate enriching programs that strengthen community connection and wellness for older adults across Cobb County.

About the Role

This is a part-time program leadership position based at the Senior Wellness Center in Kennesaw. You'll work 29 hours per week across a flexible schedule: Mondays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Fridays 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. You should be prepared to occasionally extend hours to support evening activities and assist with afterhours programming as needed. This role reports directly to the Senior Wellness Center management team.

What You'll Do

• Design, plan, and lead recreational, educational, and wellness programs tailored to older adults
• Coordinate with participants to identify interests and gather feedback on programming
• Facilitate group activities, classes, and special events at the center
• Document program attendance and outcomes
• Support evening and weekend activities as part of your ongoing responsibilities
• Collaborate with center staff and community partners to expand program offerings
• Maintain a welcoming, inclusive environment that encourages active participation
