Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Direct the full cycle of patents operations, from initial docket capture through prosecution tracking and final completion.
- Guide and develop a team of patents administrators so that daily tasks meet rigorous internal standards.
- Collaborate closely with patent attorneys on portfolio dead-lines, foreign-associate instructions and multi-jurisdictional filings.
- Review and refine operational workflows to reduce risk and lift productivity across the patents group.
- Monitor resources, budgets and service-level targets linked to patents administration.
- Uphold compliance with patent-office requirements and internal quality controls.
Skills & Qualifications
- At least four years of progressive experience managing patents operations or administration in a senior capacity.
- Demonstrated success leading people and setting operational priorities inside an intellectual-property setting.
- Deep familiarity with patent processes, including international applications, national-phase entries and renewal systems.
- Excellent organisational capacity combined with clear written and verbal communication.
- Capacity to introduce practical improvements that enhance both team output and client service standards.
