This Partner or Special Counsel/SA - Construction/ Infrastructure/Projects opportunity with AFL Recruitment centres on high-level legal work within construction, infrastructure and major projects. You will operate at partner or special counsel level, shaping strategy on significant mandates while advancing an ambitious career path in one of Sydney’s key legal markets.
Your Responsibilities
- Direct complex construction, infrastructure and projects transactions and advisory work for sophisticated clients
- Provide expert guidance on project risk, contracting frameworks, procurement and related dispute resolution
- Build and maintain strong relationships with blue-chip clients while generating new instructions
- Lead and develop junior team members to support practice excellence and growth
- Contribute to the overall strategic direction of the construction and infrastructure group in Sydney
What We're Looking For
- Established experience operating at Partner, Special Counsel or equivalent senior level within construction, infrastructure or projects legal work
- Ability to handle sophisticated matters for major clients with sound commercial judgment
- Demonstrated skill in business development and client partnership building
