Your Responsibilities
- Deliver legal counsel on environmental regulation and planning requirements to major clients
- Conduct and support litigation arising from planning disputes, development proposals and related environmental challenges
- Prepare advice papers, court documents and supporting materials for the full range of matters handled by the team
- Collaborate closely with partners and colleagues on strategy and client outcomes
- Stay current with statutory changes and policy developments that affect environmental and planning practice
Who We're Looking For
- Approximately two years’ post-admission experience suited to associate-level work in environmental or planning law
- Demonstrated ability to handle both advisory and contentious matters with accuracy and sound judgment
- Strong written and oral communication skills for dealing with sophisticated commercial clients
- Capacity to manage multiple files while maintaining quality under guidance from senior practitioners
- A genuine interest in intellectually demanding environmental and planning work
