Part Time Sales Ambassador – ABQ Uptown

Lush Handmade Cosmetics is hiring a Part Time Sales Ambassador for our ABQ Uptown location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. This is your opportunity to represent a brand committed to fighting animal testing, creating fresh handmade cosmetics, and ethical business practices while working 20–29 hours per week.

The Opportunity

As a Sales Ambassador at Lush, you'll be the face of our brand on the shop floor, bringing product expertise and genuine enthusiasm to every customer interaction. This role goes beyond transactions—it's about listening to what customers need, understanding their concerns, and matching them with products that will genuinely improve their lives. You'll help build a community around ethical beauty and sustainable practices, one conversation at a time, while hitting meaningful sales goals and contributing to your store's success.

What You'll Do

• Meet and exceed daily sales targets by staying focused, tracking your performance using store tools, and actively working to grow your contributions to overall store sales.
• Connect with every customer who walks through the door, listening carefully to understand their needs and demonstrating how Lush products' unique ingredients and benefits solve their problems.
• Educate customers about Lush's core commitments: fighting animal testing, handmade quality, ethical sourcing, vegetarian formulations, and naked packaging—sharing these values authentically in conversations and at store events.
• Continuously deepen your product knowledge, staying current on ingredients, benefits, and formulations so you can make confident recommendations with authority.
• Support your team through collaboration, open communication, and fostering an inclusive environment where everyone's contributions matter.
• Keep the store visually appealing and properly stocked, using merchandising guidelines to arrange products that catch the eye and tell our brand story.
• Maintain high standards for opening, closing, product care, and workplace health and safety.

Skills & Qualifications

Required:

• Strong customer service background with the ability to build rapport quickly and authentically.
• Genuine passion for skincare, natural beauty products, and ethical business practices.
• Comfort adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods.

Preferred:

• Prior experience in consultation-based or personalized customer service roles.
• Background in skincare or cosmetics retail or education.
• Experience working successfully in team-based environments.
• Familiarity with diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice frameworks.
• Multilingual abilities, particularly Spanish, French, or other languages.
