Homestead, City of is hiring a PAL Gym Attendant - Police Department in Leisure City, Miami-Dade County. This part-time opportunity allows you to make a direct impact on community wellness by ensuring our gym remains a clean, safe, and inviting space where residents can pursue their fitness goals.
About the Role
As a PAL Gym Attendant, you'll oversee the smooth, day-to-day functioning of City Gym facilities. Your work will ensure that patrons enjoy a pristine, secure environment that inspires confidence and supports their fitness journey. A significant benefit: beginning April 2026, Homestead employees will gain access to the Florida Retirement System (FRS), delivering enhanced retirement security and expanded financial protections.
What You'll Do
- Keep the gym spotless and well-organized, following all sanitation and health standards
- Inspect, maintain, and repair gym equipment to guarantee safe use
- Welcome members and create a positive, professional atmosphere
- Enforce facility guidelines and respond to safety concerns
- Coordinate with maintenance teams and document equipment issues
- Complete opening and closing routines with accuracy
