About the Role

This Heavy Haul Truck Driver position is a 1099 solo contract opportunity based out of Perris, Riverside County. You will operate double drop and flatbed trailers on dedicated, line-haul OTR routes, earning 20% of each load. Typical weekly gross pay averages $1,500 to $3,000, with mileage generally landing between 2,000 and 3,000 miles per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy and oversized freight on double drop and flatbed trailers across OTR lanes
• Handle 100% driver load and unload duties for every assignment
• Secure cargo properly, including tarping on roughly 25% of loads
• Maintain dependable service on dedicated, line-haul runs
• Plan routes and manage time on the road to keep freight moving efficiently

Qualifications

• Prior experience driving heavy haul, flatbed, or double drop equipment preferred
• Comfortable performing full load and unload work, including tarping
• Willing to operate as a solo, 1099 contract driver
• Able to commit to extended time on the road, with 20 to 25 expected days out per stretch
• Flexible schedule — drivers may stay out longer if they choose, with no guaranteed weekends home

Home Time

This role is structured around extended OTR cycles. Drivers earn 3 days of home time for every 25 days worked and can extend their time on the road when they prefer to keep earning.
