About the Role

This is a full-time over-the-road driving position with Nussbaum Transportation. You'll operate company-owned dry van semi-trucks on assigned routes, transporting freight safely and on schedule across the United States. We provide new equipment and foster an environment where drivers are valued, supported, and rewarded for their professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Operate dry van semi-trucks on regional and long-haul routes, ensuring timely and safe freight delivery
• Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and hours-of-service requirements
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
• Keep accurate logs and documentation in accordance with federal transportation standards
• Coordinate with dispatch and management regarding load status, route updates, and delivery confirmations
• Demonstrate professional conduct and maintain safe driving practices in all conditions

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience
• Thorough understanding of DOT regulations and federal compliance standards
• Ability to work independently while meeting performance and safety expectations
• Reliable, safety-focused, and professional approach to the job
• Commitment to maintaining required certifications and endorsements

About the Company

First-year compensation ranges from $76,000 to $92,000 depending on your experience. You'll also receive a $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus—$1,000 awarded at orientation completion, at three months, and at six months.
