Position Summary

As an OTR (Over-The-Road) Dry Van Company Driver with Nussbaum, you'll operate a commercial truck on long-distance routes across the nation. This role combines the independence of highway driving with the stability of working for a company that genuinely values its drivers. You'll manage multi-state routes, maintain vehicle safety standards, and deliver freight reliably and on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate a company-owned dry van semi-truck for long-haul routes
• Plan and execute multi-state routes while meeting delivery timelines
• Maintain detailed driving logs and required documentation
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and reports
• Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and safety protocols
• Communicate regularly with dispatch regarding route status, schedules, and vehicle condition

Skills & Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2-3 years of OTR driving experience or equivalent background
• Demonstrated ability to manage long hours and plan efficient routes
• Strong commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards
• Solid communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable, responsible attitude toward equipment and schedules
