OTR Dry Van Company Driver

Nussbaum Transportation is actively recruiting experienced OTR Dry Van Company Drivers to join our fleet based in Plano, Kendall County. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and a supportive work environment grounded in faith and family values.

About This Position

We're seeking professional Over-The-Road drivers to operate our modern fleet of dry van trailers across the United States. As an OTR Dry Van Company Driver with Nussbaum, you'll be the backbone of our logistics operations, delivering freight safely and on schedule while representing our commitment to reliable service and driver satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate company-owned dry van equipment on long-haul interstate routes
• Maintain detailed logbooks and comply with federal DOT and FMCSA regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure equipment safety
• Manage cargo securely and verify load documentation
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates and delivery status
• Uphold professional standards and safe driving practices in all weather and traffic conditions

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Minimum 2+ years of recent OTR or long-haul trucking experience
• Passing DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong mechanical aptitude and commitment to vehicle maintenance
• Reliability, professional communication skills, and safety-first mindset
• Willingness to work flexible schedules and time away from home
