About the Role

As a Nussbaum OTR Dry Van Company Driver, you'll operate a late-model Class A tractor-trailer on over-the-road routes hauling dry van freight across the country. This is a full-time, on-site driving position built for experienced professionals who want stability, strong first-year earnings, and a company culture that treats drivers like people — not just seat-fillers.

First-year drivers can expect total compensation of $76,000–$92,000 depending on experience, plus a $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus paid in three installments: $1,000 upon completing orientation, $1,000 at the 3-month mark, and $1,000 at 6 months.

What You'll Do

• Transport dry van loads safely and on schedule across OTR lanes
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate, compliant electronic logs (ELD) throughout every run
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, and delivery status
• Uphold Nussbaum's safety standards and DOT/FMCSA regulations at all times
• Represent the company professionally at shipper and receiver facilities

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL with a clean MVR
• Verifiable OTR or long-haul driving experience
• Strong safety record and a commitment to hours-of-service compliance
• Reliable, self-directed work ethic suited to extended over-the-road schedules
• Professional communication skills with dispatch and customers
