OTR Dry Van Company Driver

Nussbaum Transportation is actively seeking full-time OTR Dry Van Company Drivers to join their growing fleet out of Mount Washington, Bullitt County — bringing their values-driven approach to the open road.

About the Role

As an OTR Dry Van Company Driver with Nussbaum, you'll operate a late-model tractor-trailer on long-haul routes across the country, hauling dry van freight under the backing of a carrier that puts drivers first. This is a full-time, over-the-road position based in the Mount Washington, Kentucky area.

What You'll Do

• Safely transport dry van loads on OTR routes throughout the continental US
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections in accordance with DOT standards
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date electronic logs (ELD) and comply with all hours-of-service regulations
• Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding load status, routing, and any in-transit issues
• Secure and verify freight before departure and upon delivery
• Represent Nussbaum professionally at shipper and receiver locations

What We're Looking For

• Valid Class A CDL
• Clean motor vehicle record and the ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screening
• Strong commitment to highway safety and regulatory compliance
• Self-motivated work ethic suited to the demands of over-the-road driving
• Reliable communication skills and a professional attitude

Compensation & Bonuses

• First-year earning potential of $76,000 – $92,000, scaled to your experience level
• $3,000 Dry Van Transition Bonus paid in three installments: $1,000 upon completing orientation, $1,000 at the 3-month mark, and $1,000 at 6 months
