MRI Supervisor – Clinical Coordinator *Sign-on Bonus $10,000*

Yale New Haven Health seeks an experienced MRI Supervisor and Clinical Coordinator to join our imaging team in Ledyard, New London County. As a full-time leader in our MRI department, you'll manage daily operations, support clinical excellence, and help our patients receive world-class diagnostic care. This position includes a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

About the Role

The MRI Supervisor – Clinical Coordinator is a hands-on leadership position responsible for overseeing departmental operations, ensuring quality patient care, and maintaining a high-performing clinical team. You'll work closely with the department manager to coordinate scheduling, manage equipment, monitor compliance, and create a supportive environment where both staff and patients thrive.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate daily MRI operations, including patient scheduling and equipment preparation
• Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance management
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Monitor quality metrics and implement process improvements
• Serve as a resource for clinical staff and patients, addressing questions and concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and assist with compliance audits
• Support inventory management and equipment maintenance coordination

What We're Looking For

• Current MRI certification or equivalent imaging credentials
• Proven experience supervising clinical staff or coordinating healthcare operations
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, patient preparation, and imaging protocols
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered healthcare environment
