Mobile Application Developer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is building next-generation mobile experiences for financial services. Our talent team is seeking a Mobile Application Developer to join their distributed engineering team and build native Android features for an AI-powered finance platform.

This is a remote position for candidates based in Germany. You'll work with a global team of over 20 nationalities who are passionate about creating accessible, user-focused financial technology.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship Android features using Kotlin for insurance, payments, claims, and financial services
• Create clean, intuitive mobile user flows that simplify complex financial journeys
• Integrate backend APIs and ensure mobile functionality is stable, secure, and reliable
• Improve app performance metrics including crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage
• Analyze user behavior, analytics, and production issues to continuously improve the product
• Develop AI-assisted mobile experiences that genuinely enhance the user journey
• Collaborate with product and design teams to refine user experiences

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Strong Android fundamentals with a proven track record of shipping production applications
• Solid knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture patterns
• Strong sense of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flow design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
• Fast execution mindset with high ownership and strong attention to product quality
• Portfolio, GitHub repository, screenshots, or examples of shipped work strongly preferred
• Strong English communication skills for working with global teams
• Candidate must be based in Germany

Technical stack includes: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines & Flow, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow Lite
