Android Software Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is redefining how people interact with financial services through mobile technology. Our talent team is seeking an experienced Android Software Engineer to build native mobile experiences for an AI-powered finance platform serving millions of users.

This is a remote position based in Germany. We are looking for builders who care deeply about clean user flows, performance, and shipping reliable features that genuinely improve how people manage their finances.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship production Android features using Kotlin and modern Android architecture
• Create intuitive mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals, and financial services
• Collaborate with product and design teams to simplify complex user journeys
• Integrate backend APIs ensuring mobile flows are stable, secure, and reliable
• Optimize app performance including crash rate, loading states, responsiveness, and memory usage
• Use analytics and user behavior data to continuously improve the product experience
• Implement AI-assisted mobile features where they genuinely enhance the user journey

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin
• Strong Android fundamentals with proven experience shipping production applications
• Solid knowledge of Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow, and modern Android architecture patterns
• Strong understanding of mobile UX, usability, edge cases, and user flow design
• Experience integrating REST APIs and debugging production issues
• Track record of fast execution, high ownership, and attention to product quality
• Portfolio demonstrating shipped work (app links, GitHub, or screenshots strongly preferred)
• Strong English communication skills for collaboration with global teams
• Must be currently based in Germany

Technical environment: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android SDK, Coroutines & Flow, SQL/NoSQL, TensorFlow Lite
