Mobile Engineer – AI Finance Agent

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential fintech organization that is reimagining personal finance through AI-powered mobile applications. Our client is building next-generation financial tools that serve millions of users across multiple markets. They operate with distributed teams across more than 20 nationalities and are expanding their mobile engineering capabilities in Germany.

We are seeking a talented Mobile Engineer to build AI-driven finance features across Android and iOS platforms. This is an opportunity to ship production-quality mobile experiences that directly impact how users manage insurance, payments, and financial services through intuitive mobile interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship mobile features for Android and/or iOS platforms
• Create streamlined mobile flows for insurance, payments, claims, renewals and financial services
• Collaborate with product, design and backend teams to transform complex user journeys into intuitive mobile products
• Integrate APIs and manage edge cases, loading states, error handling and production issues
• Optimize app performance, reliability, crash rates and overall user experience
• Support rapid product launches, experiments and iterations across mobile features
• Contribute to establishing high standards for mobile product quality

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of mobile development experience in Android, iOS or both platforms
• Strong proficiency with Kotlin and/or Swift
• Proven track record shipping production applications used by real users
• Strong product sense and attention to mobile UX details
• Experience working with APIs, analytics, crash logs and production feedback
• Fast executor, comfortable owning work with minimal supervision
• App links, GitHub profile, screenshots or examples of shipped work strongly preferred
• Product-focused mindset beyond pure coding tasks
• Strong English communication skills for global team collaboration
• Must be currently based in Germany

This role is remote within Germany. Candidates must already be based in Germany to be considered.
