Mid-Market Account Executive, TMT

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential market intelligence technology organization seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive focused on the Technology, Media, and Telecom (TMT) sector in London. In this full-cycle sales role, you will:

• Cold call, prospect, and conduct frequent technical demonstrations targeting corporate intelligence departments within TMT organizations
• Research opportunities, initiate discussions, build relationships, conduct demos, manage product trials, and close deals in an end-to-end new business capacity
• Forecast accurately and develop the necessary pipeline to meet and exceed quota
• Collaborate closely with product specialist teams during trials to ensure client engagement and conversion
• Gather and distribute product feedback from clients and prospects to internal teams to enhance product offerings

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks an entrepreneurial and driven sales professional with:

• Proven corporate SaaS sales experience, ideally selling into TMT, consumer packaged goods, life sciences, professional services, or energy/industrial markets
• Understanding of sales methodology – the activities that drive pipeline building, managing high volumes of product trials, and navigating complex negotiations
• Background in financial information or research solutions is highly preferred
• A tenacious, never-give-up attitude with strong work ethic, initiative, and commitment
• Intellectual curiosity to uncover business challenges at all organizational levels, from analysts to C-suite executives
• Coachability and openness to feedback for continuous improvement
• Excellent communication skills – able to explain complex data and concepts to varied audiences via video, phone, and in writing
• Knowledge of target personas including Corporate Strategy, Market Intelligence, Business Development, M&A, Investor Relations, and research functions
