Position Summary
As a Membership Services Associate, you are the welcoming voice and friendly face our members encounter. You manage the front desk with professionalism and warmth, answer member questions and concerns, process administrative functions, and maintain the secure, positive environment that makes the YMCA a trusted gathering place. Your role directly impacts member satisfaction and retention.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests by name with genuine warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones, direct inquiries, and provide member services information
- Process membership inquiries, registrations, and account transactions
- Monitor facility access and ensure security protocols are followed
- Maintain the front desk area and member service records
- Handle billing questions and coordinate with other staff on member concerns
- Support orientation and welcome activities for new members
