Member of Technical Staff (GPU Performance Engineer)

Our talent team is representing a confidential AI organization seeking a Member of Technical Staff focused on GPU performance engineering. This is a rare chance to work on cutting-edge infrastructure that powers large-scale model training and serving systems.

The role is open in Singapore, the UK, and the USA. We're looking for engineers with deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, and low-level GPU optimization who can make immediate impact on training pipelines, post-training workflows including reinforcement learning, and model serving infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performance improvements to large-scale training infrastructure
• Optimize GPU-accelerated workloads through profiling, bottleneck analysis, and performance tuning
• Contribute to technical decisions that directly impact model performance and efficiency
• Work on post-training processes including reinforcement learning and fine-tuning pipelines
• Improve efficiency and scalability of model serving systems
• Write and debug low-level GPU code to maximize hardware utilization
• Scale GPU jobs across large compute clusters

What We're Looking For

• Strong engineering skills with fluency in Python and PyTorch or similar frameworks
• Proven experience implementing and training large deep learning models at scale
• Hands-on experience writing and debugging low-level GPU code using CUDA and C++
• Experience scaling GPU workloads on large compute clusters using tools like Slurm or Kubernetes
• Demonstrated ability to profile GPU-accelerated workloads, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement optimization techniques
• Track record of making technical contributions that measurably improved system performance
