• Monitor inventory levels of medical consumables and reorder as needed to avoid shortages

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a medical assistant education program or equivalent hands-on training
• Current certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, or similar) preferred but open to strong unlicensed candidates with demonstrated skills
• Proven competence measuring vitals, performing EKGs, and using electronic medical record systems
• Excellent communication abilities for interacting with patients of varied backgrounds as well as clinical teams
• Capacity to prioritize multiple tasks accurately in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn Southshorehealth-specific workflows
