Youth Development Professional – Concrete

Make a real difference in the lives of young people in the upper Skagit Valley as a Youth Development Professional with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Skagit County in Concrete, Skagit County. In a tight-knit community where showing up matters, you'll help kids learn, play, and grow every weekday afternoon.

About the Role

This is a part-time, on-site position based at our Concrete Club. You'll work alongside a dedicated team to create a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment where local youth can thrive. We're seeking someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with kids, stays ready to dive into the activity at hand, and understands the value of being a consistent, positive presence in a small community.

• Schedule: 18–22 hours per week, Monday through Friday
• Pay: $19.45–$20.63 per hour, DOE/DOQ, plus a $2.00/hour Concrete location differential
• Location: Concrete, Skagit County (in person)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise daily programs and activities for youth in a fun, structured setting
• Build trusting, supportive relationships with the young people who attend the Club
• Keep members safe by maintaining a secure and orderly environment
• Jump in wherever needed, from games and group projects to hands-on enrichment
• Encourage positive behavior, teamwork, and personal growth
