Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and track changes in condition throughout each shift
• Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and established protocols
• Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans in partnership with patients, families, and the care team
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes thoroughly in the medical record
• Educate patients and families on conditions, procedures, medications, and discharge instructions
• Collaborate daily with physicians, specialists, and support staff to coordinate comprehensive care
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection-control standards, safety procedures, and unit policies
• Respond promptly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions or emergency measures

What We're Looking For

• Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license valid for practice in Massachusetts
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (associate or bachelor’s degree)
• Current Basic Life Support certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support preferred as applicable to unit needs
• Solid clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and time-management skills suited to an inpatient unit
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate clearly with patients and families
• Proficiency with electronic health records and accurate clinical documentation
