About the Role

This full‑time position is based at Trinity Health’s Burr Ridge clinic, offering easy access to Chicago via I‑55 and I‑294, proximity to Burr Ridge Village Center and County Line Square, dining options, and free surface lot parking. You will work alongside physicians and specialists to ensure a smooth, welcoming experience for every patient.

What You'll Do

• Prepare examination rooms, ensuring all instruments and supplies are ready for specialty procedures.
• Greet patients, verify personal and insurance information, and record vital signs accurately.
• Assist physicians during exams and minor procedures, including suture removal, wound care, and specimen collection.
• Update electronic medical records with patient histories, visit notes, and test results in real time.
• Coordinate referrals, schedule follow‑up appointments, and manage prior authorizations as needed.
• Provide patient education on medications, post‑procedure care, and wellness resources.
• Maintain clinic inventory, restock supplies, and adhere to OSHA and infection‑control standards.
• Handle telephone inquiries, route messages, and support front‑desk workflow during peak periods.

What We're Looking For

• Current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and specialty clinic workflows.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and basic office software.
• Strong interpersonal skills for clear communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and remain calm in a fast‑paced environment.
• Attention to detail for accurate documentation and specimen handling.
