Hemodialysis Technician – Part-Time · Day

Trinity Health is hiring a Hemodialysis Technician for Gottlieb Memorial Hospital's Nurse Administration unit in Melrose Park, Illinois. This is a part-time, 8-hour day shift position providing direct dialysis care to patients on a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.

About the Role

As a Hemodialysis Technician at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital, you'll play a critical role in delivering life-sustaining treatment to dialysis patients. You'll work alongside our clinical team to ensure safe, effective hemodialysis therapy in an on-site treatment center. This part-time position offers predictable day-shift hours with schedule flexibility through rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

What You'll Do

• Set up and prepare hemodialysis machines and equipment according to clinical protocols
• Assist patients with treatment placement and monitoring during dialysis sessions
• Operate and monitor hemodialysis equipment throughout patient treatment
• Document patient care activities and treatment data accurately
• Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment following infection control standards
• Respond to on-call requests as scheduled in rotation
• Collaborate with nurses and physicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes

What We're Looking For

• Current certification as a Clinical Hemodialysis Technician or equivalent credential
• Experience operating hemodialysis equipment and monitoring patient treatment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
• Ability to work rotating schedules including weekends and holidays
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a clinical team
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
