Patient Access Representative – Byron Center

Trinity Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative for our Byron Center facility in Kent County. This is a part-time position offering an opportunity to make a direct impact on patient experiences from the moment they arrive.

About the Role

As a Patient Access Representative at our Byron Center location, you'll serve as the first point of contact for patients and their families. You'll manage the patient registration and intake process, ensuring accurate collection and verification of demographic, insurance, financial, and clinical information. This role is essential to efficient operations and positive patient experiences.

What You'll Do

• Greet and welcome patients and family members with professionalism and compassion
• Register patients for service delivery and collect demographic and insurance information
• Verify patient and guarantor information and enter data into the patient accounting system
• Collect patient signatures on required applications and consent forms
• Process financial information and coordinate with insurance providers when needed
• Maintain accurate and complete patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve check-in issues promptly and professionally
• Support the patient access team in meeting daily registration standards and volume

• Proficiency with computer systems and patient management software

• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare or registration experience valued
