Managing Director, Head of Philippines

The Cigna Group is seeking a Managing Director, Head of Philippines to serve as the senior-most operational leader at our newly established site in the Philippines. Based out of Ridgeside, Hamilton County, this full-time, on-site executive role offers a rare opportunity to build and lead a flagship operation from the ground up.

About the Role

As the Managing Director, Head of Philippines, you will act as the top-ranking leader for The Cigna Group's emerging Philippine operation, setting strategic direction and shaping the site's culture, performance, and growth. This position is structured as an expatriate assignment spanning approximately three to four years, and the successful candidate must be prepared to relocate for the duration of the engagement. You will report directly to U.S.-based senior executive leadership within the Client and Customer Experience organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and accountability for the overall performance of the new Philippines site.
• Translate enterprise strategy into local operational priorities aligned with Client and Customer Experience goals.
• Stand up, scale, and continuously strengthen site operations during the build-out phase.
• Champion a high-performing, service-oriented culture across teams.
• Serve as the primary on-the-ground connection between the Philippine site and senior leadership in the United States.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated success leading large-scale operations at a senior or executive level.
• Experience launching, building, or transforming sites and teams.
• Strong cross-cultural leadership skills suited to a global, matrixed organization.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the Philippines for a multi-year expatriate assignment of three to four years.
• Confidence partnering with U.S.-based executive stakeholders across customer experience functions.
