Managing Director, Head of Philippines

The Cigna Group is seeking an accomplished senior executive to take on the role of Managing Director, Head of Philippines, a full-time leadership position based out of Wellston, Saint Louis County. This is a rare opportunity to stand up and steer a brand-new operation as the most senior leader on the ground.

About the Role

As Managing Director, Head of Philippines, you will be the site's senior-most executive, accountable for launching and leading our new operation within the Client and Customer Experience organization. The position reports to U.S.-based senior executive leadership. Please note that this is an expatriate assignment spanning approximately three to four years, and candidates must be prepared to relocate to the Philippines for the duration of the engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall executive direction and on-site leadership for the newly established Philippines location.
• Build, scale, and operationalize the site while shaping its culture, structure, and day-to-day execution.
• Partner closely with U.S.-based senior leadership to align local operations with broader Client and Customer Experience objectives.
• Champion service quality and customer experience standards across the operation.
• Develop, mentor, and lead local teams to deliver against organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in senior executive or general management leadership, ideally including site or country-level responsibility.
• Demonstrated experience building or scaling operations, preferably within client or customer experience functions.
• Strong cross-cultural leadership skills and the ability to operate effectively in an international environment.
• Willingness and ability to relocate to the Philippines for the full three-to-four-year assignment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities, including collaboration with U.S.-based leadership.
